“…one body in Christ”
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
— Romans 12:4-8

Music Ministry
WHAT
Music ministry is an important and integral part in the life of any church. From congregational hymns to solo performances, quartets, and cantatas, it all enhances the worship services.
Our goal is to get more members involved. Anyone who can play an instrument and/or sing is welcome to do so. We would like to have special music to present during each service.
We are also dedicated to encouraging the children and youth to participate and are willing to work with the Sunday School/youth leadership as needed.
We welcome any suggestions that any of you may have to expand the music ministry.
WHY
1 Chronicles 15:16
And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.
Women’s Missionary Union
WHAT
Monthly, we try to help someone in our church family or community that we feel needs a little encouragement, either with money, cards and/or everyday items.
WHY
Matthew 25:45
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Deacon Family Ministry
WHAT
The Deacon Family Ministry allows deacons to support the pastor in addressing the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of church members. Church families are divided into groups, with each group assigned a deacon. The deacon will then minister to these families over time through various means. A deacon can serve families in the following ways:
Visiting the assigned families.
Witnessing to unsaved family members.
Rejoicing with families.
Being a friend.
Giving support in times of crisis.
Answering questions about faith or about the church.
Helping people know and have fellowship with other members and families in the church.
Helping people find ways to serve in the church.
Praying for and praying with families.
WHY
Acts 6:2-3
Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

WHY
Philippians 4:15-17
Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
