Message from our Pastor
Bro. Rick

I am sorry that I have not been with you for these two weeks, I have been sick or out of town. But I am back and ready to get into Psalms 37 again. This week we are looking at 37:5-6, "Commit your way to the Lord...". In our everyday living we are called on to do a lot of things, but done of them more important than this. We are to commit our way to God, to allow Him to have full control of what we do and where we go and everything else. In doing this we have to trust the Lord as the rest of this verse says. There is a lot of things in which we put our trust, when we go to sit down don't we trust the chair we are about to sit in? Sure we do, we don't even think about it we just sit down don't we? Why can't we trust God like that? It's like this, we "know" the chair is going to hold us because we have sat there many times before, isn't it the same with God? We have trusted Him before and He never let us down right? So why is it so hard to trust Him in all things? The more we trust in Him the more we realize that He is always going to be there for us. So let's trust Him in our live each day and see what He will do. Bro. Rick

Church Covenant
Having been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord and, on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, we do now, in the presence of God, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ. We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, and the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
